Description

Summary: 2 Iron Age, pottery sherds, 5 Roman pottery sherds, 2 black burnished ware rim and body sherds, 1 Samian body sherd and 2 Savenake coarseware body sherds, 2 Medieval (12 -13th Century) pottery sherds and 1 Late Medieval (16th Century) body sherd. Brown glaze to large Medieval sherd, and palm trees ot hanging garlands to Samian sherd. 1 Neolithic worked flint flake with retouch to the edge. Collected from Woodsend Pond, Aldbourne, Wiltshire by Andrew Sewell in 1993.
