Identification note: A man dressed in doublet and hose and a feathered hat standing next ti a skeletal man with a loose cloak, with a coffin behind him. Old english script wording above each.

Identification note: catalogue card has "Probably the original drawing for the engraving by H Moses on p 542 of Modern Wilts, vol 6, 1843. Also engraved by Basire at p 187, vol 2, pl 72 in Gough, Sepulchral Monuments, 1796" on the back

Identification note: duplicate : smaller version 1982.4477; black and whire 1983.605 (2)
