Description

Summary: Middle / Late Bronze Age penannular ring, consisting of a gold sheet wrapped around a copper-alloy core. These objects are sometimes referred to as 'hair rings' or 'ring money', though their exact function remains unknown. Found in Ogbourne St Andrew, 2020.
