Description

Summary: 1 iron candle bracket or sconce, with centre spike for the candle and a lower spike for resting onto the bracket (originally recorded as a stirrup or spur), possibly Medieval, from the Iron Age hillfort at Budbury, Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, excavated by G J Wainwright in 1969.
