Identification note: This is a photograph of the oil painting, "The Great Bustard" by H. Grant c. 1850

Summary: 1 black and white photograph of two Great Bustards on Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire. One bird is in the central foreground standing erect and one is in the right midground with it's head down searching for food. The Stonehenge monument can be seen very faintly, in the right background.
