Description

Summary: Gilt tooled green leather presentation album. The cover is inscribed, 'Presented to Mr. Frank Reynolds by the Inhabitants of Devizes and Neighbourhood. March 1902'. It contains forty-eight Art Nouveau style watercolours, most signed by members of the community and the title page of the album makes reference to the gift of the candelabra (DZSWS:2015.32.1) as a token of appreciiation for services rendered to the borough of Devizes. Mr Reynolds was landlord of the Bear Hotel in the Market Place, Devizes, 1891.
