Description

Summary: 1 shepherd's fencing bar, used to make the holes for securing fence posts, it can carry a maximum of ten wicker hurdles, from the village of Tilshead on Salisbury Plain. 19th century, made by a local blacksmith. Acquired by the donor in c.2000 from the Kyte Family, farmers in Tilshead.
