Description

Summary: 1 Peterborough ware body sherd with wedge-shaped whipped cord 'maggot' decoration, dark bodied, very uneven over surface. ?Mortlake ware. 54mm x 43mm. From a small field known as Oliver's Hill Field, Cherhill, Wiltshire, excavated by I F Smith and J G Evans, on behalf of WANHS, 1967.
