Description

Summary: 3 sherds of Bronze Age beaker(?) pottery (1 rim and 2 body sherds), the 2 large sherds have a dark fabric with many flint inclusions and the small sherd is redder in colour, from West Kennet Long Barrow, Avebury, Wiltshire, excavated by Professor Stuart Piggott and his staff and students at the Department of Prehistoric Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh, 1955-56.1
