Summary: Memorabilia and photographs of Froxfield - Littlecote - Social Events, assembled by Moya Dixon for an exhibition on Froxfield in September 1995 and repeated in October 2001. Includes 21 black and white photographs taken between 1900's and 1937 and 2 colour photocopies of pictures of the house and grounds of Littlecote, dating from 1983; Photocopy of the funeral service of Sir Ernest Wills, in Froxfield Church 17th January 1958; Photocopy of an invitation to Mr and Mrs A.. Dixon, to supper and fireworks display at Littlecote House on 18th May 1932; Photocopy of a dinner invitation at Littlecote House to Mr Arthur Dixon on 7th January 1949; Photocopy of extract from Domesday Book on Littlecote; Photocopy of a Memorial Service dated August 27 1944, held in Littlecote Park and organised by 506th Parachute Infantry, A.P.O. 472, United States Army; Photocopy of an article, believed to be the Marlborough Times c.1959, concerning the letting of Littlecote House, following the death of Sir Ernest Wills; Photocopy of an article in he Newbury Chronical September 21 1911, relating to cricket matches played at Littlecote around that date.
