bath stone

Description

Summary: Though only the broken length of this stone prevents a complete measurement of all six surfaces, it has been damaged on its carved and shaped front and side surfaces so that the chevron and ball frieze is in poor condition on a narrow ashlar that once was part of a surround feature. Found at Monkton Farleigh Priory, Monkton Farleigh, Wiltshire.
