Description

Identification note: Marked 'D.d V' = Deep section of inner ditch at 'd' WAM XLIII p58

Summary: 1 high-sided end scraper with cortex remaining on right side of ventral face, grey white mottled patination, from the early Iron Age Hillfort at Figsbury Rings, Winterbourne Dauntsey, near Salisbury, Wiltshire, excavated by Mrs M. E. Cunnington and Mr B. H. Cunnington, 1924.
