Description

Summary: Medieval, 13th - 14th century, silver bar mount, one of a number of which would have been mounted on a belt or strap. Bar mounts are commonly found, but rarely occur in silver. Found with the use of a metal detector in 2013, from the parish of Potterne, Wiltshire.
