Summary: 1 jar of charcoal and a quantity of sooty aggregak mixed with soil, analysed and found to have traces of corylus, hazel, and fraxinus, ash, from the Medieval period, from Wroughton Copse, Fyfield, Wiltshire, excavated by Peter Fowler, University of Bristol, 1959-61.
