Description

Summary: 2 bone implements, gouges or scoops, worked from the metatarsal bones of small sheep sliced off at the point, 2 are pierced with two holes and one hole respectively at the knuckle end, the 3rd is without a hole, from the Iron Age or Romano-British period (?). From Wilsford Down, Wilsford (North), Wiltshire. Excavated by Mr W. P Hayward. Date unknown.
