Description

Identification note: Classified as Type 6.6 (worked bone) in Smith

Summary: 1 piece of bone from the lower end of a tibia cut off and the edges of the cut rubbed smoth, with groove marks worn by friction of some sort, from the Iron Age period, from All Cannings Cross Farm, All Cannings, Wiltshire. Excavated by Mr B H Cunnington and Mrs M E Cunnington, 1911-22.
