Summary: 1 stap-end of think repoussee sheet, folded over and decorated with samped and engraved designs. Decoration, chased spiral, punched dots with notches cut between them, 2 pairs of parallel lines, floral design, word MAY,traces of dark 'patina' from Ludgershall Castle, a Medieval Royal Castle and hunting lodge in East Wiltshire, excavated by Peter Addyman and Southampton University, 1964-1972.
