Description

Summary: 1 giant Collared Urn with two lines of impressed cord zigzags around the rim and 11 perforations through it to the inside for suspension or attaching the cloth, an impressed herring-bone pattern around the collar, impressed cord hoops around waist, an impressed cord cross on the base and vertical scratches from waist to base, found inverted with primary cremation wrapped in cloth underneath in Bowl barrow Wimborne St. Giles G10, Dorset, excavated by William Cunnington.
