Identification note: Samuel Rabb was bown in 1891 and lived in Unity Street, Bristol

Summary: photograph of a sepia postcard, showing Samuel John Babb (arms folded and smoking pipe) with other members of The Wiltshire Regiment at Sutton Veny on 3 June 1917; he was shot by a sniper at Ypres; the damage to the postcard is believed to have been caused by the bullet that killed him.
