Description

Summary: 1 pin with ornamental bronze head and iron shank in four pieces, the biconical top of green copper-alloy is decorated with four pairs of symmetrically arranged vertical grooves and a horizontal row of nicks around the median angle, below this is a facetted cube decorated with dots and a facetted pentagonal collar, Ross 1991 Type VII, from Grave 104, from the pagan Saxon cemetery called 'Black Patch' at Blacknall Field, Pewsey, Wiltshire, excavated by Ken Annable and the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1969-1976.
