Description

Summary: Victorian scale model of Stonehenge, made from 125 oak and mahogany bricks of differing sizes. Made in c.1901 for children in the Burtt (?) family. There is a handwritten instruction / note glued to the underside of the lid of the wooden container in which it is stored. Given to the museum in memory of Neil Wiseman, an American Stonehenge enthusiast.
