Description

Identification note: The remains of the skeleton were found in it.

Summary: Wooden coffin, possibly Anglo-Saxon in date. A hollowed out tree trunk. One of the ends is movable and was held in place using wooden pegs. Found on the site of Minety Church in 1907.
