A beautiful responsive image

Description

Summary: a complete silver gilt medieval annular brooch. The front of the brooch is flat and decorated with an incised design consisting of three panels of leaves and three panels of Greek crosses and saltires. The latter may be imitating an inscription. Found with the use of a metal detector in September 2011, in the parish of Urchfont, Wiltshire.
