Identification note: an image from the Kearley Collection of glass plate negatives, dating from the late 19th/early 20th century. photographer unknown, part of collection found in the cellar of the Wiltshire Gazette office in Market Place, Devizes in 1968.

Summary: collodion wet plate glass photographic negative and modern inkjet print thereof of canal bridge in Devizes, known as the Prison Bridge, view of Bath Road looking towards Devizes centre, with Black Horse pub in centre foreground, late 19th century.
