(1 and 2 - halves of the Andrews & Dury map of Devizes area, 1773, 3 and 4 - Dore's Plan of Devizes, 1759, 5 and 6 - Detail from Dore's Plan (notable buildings and list of streets), 7 - Plan of Devizes, 1831, 8 - Plan of Devizes, 1834, 9 - Map of 1839, 10 - Map of 1923. 11 - Photograph of a painting of St. Mary's church, 1803, 12 - Photograph of a painting of St. John's church, 1803, 13 - photograph of a painting of St. James' church, 14 - The Market place/corner of New Street, jubilee decorations are visible (Victoria?) and a man in a horse and cart with a lady holding the horse's head can be seen in the left foreground, 15 - Photograph of a drawing of Devizes Market Place after 1856 (list of shops and proprietors on reverse), 16 - "Laying the Foundation Stone of the Corn Exchange, 15.4.1857, 17 - Photograph of a drawing of the Market Cross, 1886, 18 - Photograph of a drawing of the Town House, 19 - Photograph of a drawing of St. John's Passage, 20 - Dunkirk Hill lokking up th road towards the town, the "Queen's Head" public house can be seen in the left midground.
