Description

Summary: 1 butt end of a broken flint axe or pick, large and fairly crude with evidence of use-wear on cutting edges, some patination and iron-staining, possible a broken tool re-used later (in antiquity), from Red Hern Hill, Urchfont, Wiltshire, part of the Brooke Collection with Brooke's number '108' or '801'.
