Description

Summary: 21 chalk, clay or shale perforated roundels or parts of roundels, some with curved profiles which may be spindle whorls or beads, others with flat profile, from the ?Iron Age and Romano British periods, from the extensive Romano-British village in the north west corner of Stockton Earthworks, Stockton Downs, Stockton, Wiltshire, excavated by Mr R Nan Kivell, 1923.
