Identification note: items nos. 1999.50.1 - 1999.50.20 all found under the floor boards of 43 Market Place, during building work. No.43 Market Place was once 'Lucas" - a ladies dress shop

Summary: wooden cotton reel, with label on one end: 'BRITISH THREAD' and coat of arms, height 34mm, diameter 24mm
