Description

Summary: Sign, red and white, 'COY OFFICE', from Prince Maurice Barracks, Devizes, Wiltshire, built by W E Chivers on London Road in 1939 and demolished in 1987. Initially the Barracks were occupied by 207th Anti Aircraft Training Regiment. Between 1939 - 45 they also housed the US Army units: - 344 Engineer Regiment; 22 Armoured Field Artillery Battallion of the 4th Armoured Division; 141st General Hospital.
