Description

Summary: 1 silver medal commemorating the imprisonment in 1688 of Archbishop Sancroft and 6 other bishops by King James II. Stamped on the obverse; 'GUIL SANCROFT ARCHIEPS CANT' with his bust at left. Stamped on the Reverse; 'IMMOTA TRIUMPHANS' with a church on rock surrounded by the sea.
