Description

Summary: 1 waeving comb made of antler with seven teeth, one missing and one worn away, with a tapering shaft and oval enlargement at the end with a perforation 8mm in diameter, from the Iron Age period, from the early Iron Age settlement (early La Tene period) at Swallowcliffe Down, Swallowcliffe, Wiltshire. Excavated by Dr R C C Clay, 1925.
