Description

Summary: 15 letters from Abraham Crocker to William Cunnington: at first a schoolmaster at Ilminster, Somerset. He later moved to Frome and with his sons started a surveying business. He wrote a book The Elements of Land Surveying in 1814, as well as ones on cider making and measuring and valuing trees. His son Philip was the surveyor and draftsman for RCH's Ancient Wiltshire
