bone tool fragment

Description

Summary: bone tool fragment - rib?, split along its length, polished with cut maks, perforated at one end of the narrow ends and at the other, drilling of similar size has been made but this does not extend the whole way through the bone. Along the edge of the object, a series of shalow v-shaped notches have been cut. aprox 1mm deep and 2.3mm appart, from Blackberry Field, Potterne, a late bronze/ early iron age settlement excavated by Lawson et al 1983-85
