Description

Summary: photograph, exterior view of a brick mansion, built 1723, with two storeys. The wings are of chequered brick with ribbed quoins. Formerly the home of the Duke of Somerset, he died 1750. The house then became the Castle Inn. In 1843 it was sold to Marlborough College, C House, Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, 1957
