Description

Summary: 25 small sherds of dark grey-brown fabric decorated with horizontal rows of stab marks and zones of diagonal shallow grooves, from the same small pot, from the Iron Age period, from the early Iron Age settlement (early La Tene period) at Swallowcliffe Down, Swallowcliffe, Wiltshire. Excavated by Dr R C C Clay, 1925.
