Description

Identification note: a similar plate is illustrated in Coysh, 1974, p17.

Summary: indented plate of blue and white pearlware, printed with the 'Long Bridge' pattern, an early Chinoiserie pattern characterised by a long bridge with three arches .of equal size, impressed mark Leeds Pottery; 1780-1800
