Summary: collection of Wiltshire words, sayings and phrases peculiar to the county

Notes: Katherine Glyn ‘Kate’ Forbes. Died peacefully at Wren House, Warminster, on August 5, 2021, aged 100. Daughter of Major Jack and Mrs Val Forbes, née Glyn. Much loved sister of Joan and Peter, aunt, great aunt and cousin. Formerly of Codford, Wiltshire, a local historian and generous supporter of the community where she served as a district and parish councillor. Funeral at 2pm on August 25th, at St Peter’s, Codford. Family flowers. Donations to the Poppy Appeal. (Telegraph Announcements, 6.8.2021).

Notes: Kate was the great-great-granddaughter of Charlotte (Wyndham) Baynton-Starky.
