Summary: 1 Early Saxon bronze applied saucer brooch, only partial surface decoration remaining, catch plate and pin holder attached to brooch via slots, bent at one edge with piercing of surface by this, from the pagan Saxon cemetery called 'Black Patch' at Blacknall Field, Pewsey, Wiltshire, excavated by Ken Annable and the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1969-1976.
