Description

Summary: 1 roughly circular flattened piece of chalk with conical hole started on both sides but not meeting, possibly used as a drill steadier, from the Iron Age period, from the early Iron Age settlement (early La Tene period) at Swallowcliffe Down, Swallowcliffe, Wiltshire. Excavated by Dr R C C Clay, 1925.
