Identification note: this copy has a note by Canon Jackson inside front cover " a scarce book but many inaccuracies in it" and a note in unknown handwriting " This book is full of inaccuracies. The London Library has the late Col J Houlton's copy with many of Jacksons corrections" also a newspaper cutting on the Hungerford Family and at end an Extract from the Pedigree of Hungerford of Farleigh Castle and Down Ampney to exolain the shields of arms formerly in Down Ampney House; also a note on Down Ampney House; also a copy of an extract of an article by C E Long from an referenced volume of WANHM.
