Description

Summary: Shoe buckle of cast copper in a spectacle form with double rectangle frame, tongue missing. Elaborate mouldings around the frame, masked by corrosion in part but suggestive of fleur-de-lys and petal motifs, found during an archaeological excavation at Abbey House, Bradford-on-Avon, by Foundations Archaeology.
