This protrait shows a nanny/nurse dressed in a uniform of dark dress, white apron, collar and cuffs with a dark cap held on her head with white ribbon under her chin. The baby appears to be naked, wrapped in a knitted shawl. Anotated on the reverse, "Almeric Frederic Conness Rich, Southsea - about 3 mths. 1897.
