Description

Summary: Bronze Age sheet gold fragment. A line of punched dot decoration runs along the original edge. The dot decoration is characteristic of primary Beaker gold work. This style of decoration is also found on basket earrings and sun discs. The gold is creased and has several small scratches and cracks. Found in the Wedhampton area of Wiltshire, September 2013
