Description

Summary: 1 English art pottery vase, one of a pair, in orange red clay, bowl shaped with tapering neck from a pronounced shoulder, four stem holes to neck, flat base, body of vase hand painted in green and cream with transfer prints of three butterflies applied over painting, manufacturer not known, circa 1900, acquired from the McLaren Foundation, Clouds Estate, East Knoyle, Salisbury, Wiltshire, 2005.
