Description

Summary: The ceramic vessel assemblage found during excavation of the Late Bronze Age to Middle Iron Age and Romano-British Settlement at 'Black Furlong', Blacklands, Calne Without, ahead of the excavation of a slurry pit in 2005. Sherds from context C1, material found at the base of the topsoil during clean up prior to excavation. The assemblage contains 1 Romano-British sherd and 3 later Prehistoric sherds.

Research results
