Description

Summary: 3 samples of fluid clay from beneath the kiln flue, site 1. Fired at 900, 1100 and 1300 degrees Centigrade to compare colour. No match to Oaksey products excavated at the 1st century tile and pottery complex at Park Farm, Oaksey, Wiltshire, excavated by A J Scammell and L Hamblin, 1973-4 and 1984.
