Description

Summary: Peterborough ware body sherd, coarse and red-faced with oolite inclusions and unusual decoration of finger nail impressions combined with horizontal grooves. From a small field known as Oliver's Hill Field, Cherhill, Wiltshire, excavated by I F Smith and J G Evans, on behalf of WANHS, 1967.
