Description

Summary: 1 rectangular mount, pierced at each corner, 3 rivets surviving, with a simple repoussee floral design flanked at each edge by a segment of a circle, traces of which only visible on the longer sides., from Ludgershall Castle, a Medieval Royal Castle and hunting lodge in East Wiltshire, excavated by Peter Addyman and Southampton University, 1964-1972.
