pot sherd

Description

Summary: 1 bag of Roman, pottery rim, base and body sherds, no decoration. Majority coarseware, storage vessel sherds but also, greyware, black burnished and Samian ware. Also 4 pieces of corroded iron (all belong to same object) with a straight section and a larger flat end, possible nail or rivet hole at this end (?) hinge or strap. Collected from Glebe, Aldbourne, Wiltshire by Andrew Sewell in 1979.
