Description

Identification note: Classified as Type 6.4 (decorated fragments) in Smith

Summary: 7 pieces of worked bone and 2 pieces of worked antler, all decorated with incised lines or dot and circle design, possibly from rib knife handles or combs, from the Iron Age period, from All Cannings Cross Farm, All Cannings, Wiltshire. Excavated by Mr B H Cunnington and Mrs M E Cunnington, 1911-22.
